Chrysophyllum oliviforme

(Satinleaf)

Sapotaceae

Traditional remedy or use: Wood was used for fence posts, rafters and fuel (charcoal). Used to treat cuts and sores and fungal infections.

Comments: Fruits are edible but very chewy, similar to gum.

This specimen can only be found in our Native Garden which is located on the northeast side of the 'Blue Lot' parking lot. See map for directions.
